Promesses silencieuses
De je ne sais quel bonheur
Je te regarde et cela suffit

Here's the official translation. I didn't include it in the original post because it's so...clunky.

Silent promises
Of I know not what happiness
I look at thee and that suffices.

It stuck because it has the same phrase I stole the title of my blog from. Ben Vautier, a visual artist from Nice, is famous for a performance at the National Theatre of Nice where he literally sat on stage with a poster that said "Regardez-moi, cela suffit" (look at me, that is enough). Which might not seem like much but really said a lot about the essence of performance. Anyways, it's an idea I like, it was cool to come across it unexpectedly.
